Biggest snubs from the All Ufl team

While the UFL championship game is ahead of us we got to see the inaugural All-UFL team and while we are in partial agreement there are a few All-UFL selections that make us wonder what the UFL was thinking. Today we will break down the players that should have made the All-UFL roster today.

Quarterback: A.J. McCarron Battlehawks

Throughout most of the season A.J. McCarron has been the best quarterback in the UFL the Battlehawks have had health issues and their offensive line isn’t that great but still McCarron has thrown for over 1500 yards in 9 games played. Do we know if Adrian Martinez is the Stallions' best quarterback? While Luis Perez had better numbers than both Martinez and McCarron those stats didn’t mean anything as the Renegades were awful this year. McCarron should have been the quarterback selection on the All-UFL team due to his impact on one of the better teams in the UFL.

Running Back: John Lovett Brahmas

This one was pretty tough because De’Veon Smith had a great year as well but I think Lovett deserved the All-UFL selection for running back the Brahmas offense looked way different when Lovett was on the field as the Brahmas went 6-2 in Lovett's 8 games on the season. Lovett also averaged 52.8 yards per game which is tied with Adrian Martinez surprisingly for averaging the most rushing yards per game. While Jacob Saylors who was named the All-UFL selection at running back had more yards on the season he played in one more game and only had 39 more yards than Lovett.

Defensive back: Derrick Abrams Showboats

How Abrams got left off the All-UFL team is beyond me he has 2 interceptions this year leading all cornerbacks in what was an awful year for the Showboats. He had 47 tackles which is quite a bit for a corner and rarely got beat in coverage. Deandre Baker had no interceptions on the season and only 22 tackles. I think it is safe to say that the UFL messed this selection up Abrams was clearly the second-best corner outside of Nate Brooks. He had more tackles and interceptions than Deandre Baker the only thing you can say is that Abrams was on a much worse defense than Baker.

Overall I do think that the UFL got a lot of these selections right Carlos Davis was the best defensive player in the UFL and he got an All-UFL selection to show for the same goes for many of these players.

Let me know what you think which other players were snubbed from the All-UFL team?
