Cincinnati Bengals 2024 NFL draft analysis by Tyler Duke

The Bengals did a lot of what they usually like to do in every NFL offseason which is adding offensive lineman, and the Bengals didn’t waste any time as they added Amarius Mims an offensive tackle with their first-round selection.

The Bengals added Kris Jenkins out of Michigan with their second-round pick which I like because the Bengal's defense got pushed around at the line of scrimmage last year and Jenkins should help stop the run while also getting good value. I like what they did on offense as well they added a couple of good young targets for Burrow to throw to in Jermaine Burton out of Alabama and Tanner McLachlan the tight end from Arizona.

This prepares the Bengals for the inevitable that they won’t be able to pay Tee Higgins and they will eventually have to trade him. I think that this draft solved a lot of the Bengal's immediate needs at offensive line, while also providing some weapons for Burrow to use for the future, my favorite pick was Jermaine Burton I think he can contribute right away as a speedster in the slot if they move on from Higgins this year.
