UFL Championship Preview

The most anticipated game of spring football is finally here, the UFL championship!

This weekend we will see the inaugural UFL championship between the Stallions and the Brahmas. What does each team need to do to bring home the championship trophy?

When we look at this matchup we really get a matchup of the UFL’s best offense vs the UFL’s best defense as the Stallions have the best offense in the UFL and the Brahmas have the best defense in the UFL.

The key to the Brahmas winning this game is they have to make things uncomfortable for Adrian Martinez early, he made was named to the All-UFL team as the quarterback and it is well earned as Martinez is the best in the league. Martinez leads the UFL in both passing yards and rushing yards to keep Martinez at bay the Brahmas defensive line has to get pressure on Martinez early which is certainly possible as they have one of the better defensive lines in the UFL.

On offense its simple the Brahmas need to give the ball to John Lovett who has been the best running back all year in my opinion and should have made the All-UFL team. The x factor is Chase Garbers if he can make big throws on third down the Brahmas have a chance to win.

The heavy favorites coming into this game are the Stallions. They are really good in all aspects of the game for the Stallions to win this game they need to give Adrian Martinez time in the pocket, if they can keep Adrian Martinez upright this should be a pretty easy win for the Stallions.

The key to the Stallions on defense is stopping John Lovett early; if they do that and make Chase Garbers beat them with his arm the Stallions secondary should be able to handle the Brahmas average receiving core. The X factor for the Stallions is Jace Sternberger if he is able to cause havoc in the Brahmas secondary it is going to be a really long game for San Antonio.
